Hi, I'm Sissi De Flaviis, the founder of Places To Go Ottawa.

 

The spark for this journey ignited in the summer of 2019. I was sharing my dream of becoming a travel writer, exploring the world, and revealing its wonders to others. Then came the words that changed everything: "Why don’t you start here?" That simple question lingered until it clicked—why not become an explorer in my own city?

And just like that, @placestogoottawa was born. What started as a passion project has

grown into something much more than I imagined. So far, 17,000 of you joined me, proving

that Ottawa is far more than "the city fun forgot."

Ottawa is vibrant, full of hidden gems waiting to be uncovered, and Places To Go is here to

help you find them. Whether you’re looking for that perfect restaurant, a scenic spot for an

adventure, or a cozy corner to relax, this is your guide. I want you to feel the same excite-

ment and wonder I do every time I discover something new.
